On March 16, 2003, Rachel Corrie, a 23-year-old American peace activist, lost her life while standing in front of an Israeli military bulldozer in Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip. Corrie was part of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), an organization that supported non-violent resistance to the Israeli military’s operations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Her parents, Craig and Cindy Corrie, took up the fight for justice, seeking accountability for their daughter’s death and raising awareness about the broader issues of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
